Quiet Hour at the NZ International Science Festival Hub

Enjoy the Festival Hub in a sensory-friendly manner
When: Thursday, 11 July, and Sunday, 14 July
Time: 9:30-10:30 am
Tickets: To keep visitor numbers low, reserve a free ticket for the sensory-friendly experience (accompanying adults do not need tickets).
What to Expect:
Low noise and light levels in the Annex building.
No auditory elements in Hub displays.
Quiet and calm voices encouraged for visitors and staff.
Soft, warm lighting in the Postmaster Gallery; natural light in the Conservatory.
Benches available on the Otago Museum Reserve for fresh air and rest.

From 10:00 - 10:30 am, the Festival Hub opens to the public but maintains Quiet Hour regulations.
Science Storytime at 9:30 am in the Conservatory is a quiet activity. Participants can join but must reserve a separate ticket.
