More than 400 copies of a video documentary linking the early Chinese settlement of Dunedin and the city’s later Chinese Garden are being sent to every school in Otago and Southland.
The Journey to Lan Yuan is a documentary made by staff from Toitu Otago Settlers Museum and the Dunedin Chinese Garden, also called Lan Yuan, in 2016.
The documentary was presented by Sean Brosnahan, produced by William McKee, and based on books by New Zealand Chinese historian Dr James Ng.
