NZ Young Writers Festival are looking for expressions of interest from young writers who are keen to deliver an event during the 2024 festival. Applications close 2 June 2024

Events can take any form: workshops, panels, performances, participatory events and more. Let your imagination run wild!

The New Zealand Young Writers Festival welcomes young writers (aged 15-35) of all kinds to celebrate a diverse range of wordsmithing including slam poetry, playwriting, songwriting, short fiction, novels, zines, screenwriting, poetry, journalism, blogging, critical content creation, podcasts, review writing, and more. The festival is by young writers, for young writers.
