The Mike Riddell Writer's Residency offers a 12-week stay in the village of Ōtūrēhua, including exclusive use of a house and a weekly stipend of $1000.

It will run from 22nd June as either a full 12-week term for one writer or split into two 6-week periods (22nd June – 3rd August & 16th August – 27th September) if two writers are selected.
