International call for ceramic artist residencies in Caldas Da Rainha

Artistic residency aimed at international artists over the age of 18 with a proven track record in ceramics from other UNESCO Creative Cities outside Portugal.

The residencies will take place between September and October 2024 for six weeks.

The successful applicant will be awarded a grant of €3,000.00, to be distributed in two phases.

The resident artist will have access to accommodation and a studio at ESAD.CR, where they can develop projects and make small models.

During the residency period, moments will be scheduled to open the studio to the community, allowing for the sharing of processes and other interactions considered relevant during this experience, including studio visits and collaboration with local ceramic artist(s).
