As a 'situationship' forms between them, Madeline tries to keep her head above water as life gets more and more difficult, exacerbated by her struggles with depression and her toxic relationship with her family. As Madeline's relationship with Daniel grows more complicated, Madeline expresses herself through five original songs (linked online via QR codes), allowing the reader to experience a deeper insight into her world and mental state.
