Tūhura Otago Museum Dress Collection Tour

In partnership with iD Fashion, Tūhura Otago Museum is offering an exclusive basement tour of its dress collections.

Take a rare behind-the-scenes look at the fascinating, intricate, and extravagant items acquired in the past century or so, and see some collection highlights, including swimwear, smoking caps, and ‘60s stilettos.

One of New Zealand's foremost historical dress experts and Honorary Curator for the dress collection, Dr Jane Malthus, and Moira White, Curator, Humanities, will show you these treasures and tell you about the stories behind the garments.
