Participate in our cherished New Year activities—tie a ribbon to the wishing tree or light a joss stick for prosperity, or head up to the Tower Room to craft your own felted fortune cookie.

Dumplings are an essential dish to welcome the arrival of a new year and bid farewell to the old one. Bring the whole whanau to the garden to enjoy a pot of tea and a dumpling snack! Consuming dumplings during the New Year is believed to bring financial fortune and good luck for the coming year.
