Regent 24-Hour Book Sale

After four decades of holding the sale inside the theatre, the event outgrew the Regent, hence the move to the More FM Arena, Edgar Centre, 116 Portsmouth Drive.

This larger location provides more room for the tens of thousands of books and items that are collected to be displayed as well as ‘niche’ interest category areas to be set up. The new space is more physically comfortable even at busy times, with everything being on one easily accessible floor and allows for better browsing. The free car parking that is available means patrons can come and go many times to the sale within the 24 hour period over two days.

Donation Information

SMALL DONATIONS for our book sale can be dropped into the Regent Theatre Box Office during the Theatre opening hours: Tuesday – Friday 11.00am – 5.00pm. The Theatre will be closed from Friday 20 December, opening again Monday 13 January 2025.

FOR YOUR CONVENIENCE there are two bins for donations, at the BP 2 Go Mornington, located at 29-37 Mailer Street.

LARGE DONATIONS can also be dropped off to our team at National Storage – 229 Kaikorai Valley Road between 9am and 12pm – SUNDAYS ONLY. Last day Sunday 15 December – recommencing Sunday 12 January 2025
